using a square minus b square find 12 square - 10 square

12 sq.-10 sq.= (12+10)(12-10)=22×2=44.

we know that a square minus b square = (a+b) (a-b)
so by applying this, we ge

12 square - 10 square
=( 12-10 )× (12+10)
= 2× 22
=44.
