User interface is a a part of operating system program and or device that allows a user of a computer to enter any information into it and then receive it.

With a graphical user interface a user of a system uses ( by seeing the right-hand image in a moniter), the functions by the user are carried out by clicking or moving buttons, icons and menus by means of a pointing device like mouse or joystick of pen etc.
