By using the identity

(a+b+c) ² =(a²+b²+c²+2ab+2bc+2ca)

we get

(a+c+2d) ²=(a²+c²+4d²+2×a×c+2×c×2d+2×2d×a)

=(a²+c²+4d²+2ac+4cd+4da)

thank you
