The electron in Hydrogen atom in ground state revolves on a circular path whose radius is equal to the Bohr radius (an). Let the velocity to electron of H atom is v, and radius of orbit is a0.

So, the number of revolutions per unit time = 2πa0/v

The electric current is given by i = q/t, if q charge flows in time t. Here, q = e

So, i = –eV

The electric current is given by i = -2πa0/v e.

–ve sign shows that the direction of current is opposite to the direction of motion of electron.

hope it helps mark as Braintree
