1.Radius would be same for conical base as well as sphere. Therefore Radius is 12cm
2.CSA of sphere = SA of sphere - CSA of cone

Answer:

Radius of sphere = 12 cm

Curved Surface area of sphere = 1808.64 cm²

Step-by-step explanation:

The radius of the base of circular cone = 12 cm

Height of cone = 48 cm

Volume of cone = Volume of sphere

\frac{1}{3}\pi\times r^2\times h=\frac{4}{3}\pi\times r^3\\\\\implies h = 4\times r\\\\\implies r = \frac{48}{4}=12

The radius of the sphere so formed will be the same as the radius of the base of circular cone

⇒ Radius of sphere = 12 cm

Curved Surface area of sphere = 4π × radius²

Curved surface area of sphere = 4 × 3.14 × 12²

Curved Surface area of sphere = 1808.64 cm²
