Using distance formula, show that the points A, B and C are collinear: A(2, 3), B(3,

4), C(6, 7)​

If 3 points are collinear then ,when we use the triangle area formula the area will be equal to 0.

=1/2 *{2(4-7)+3(7-3)+6(3-4)}

=1/ *{2*-3 +3*4 +6*-1}

=1/2*{-6+12-6}

=1/2{-12+12}

=1/2*0

=0
