a × b + a × c = a ( b + c )

Distributive property

Now ,

7/5 × ( -3/10 ) + 7/5 × ( 9/10 )

= 7/5 ( -3/10 + 9/10 )

= 7/5 [ ( -3 + 9 ) / 10 ]

= 7/5 ( 6/10 )

= 7/5 × 3/5

= 21/25
