Using division algorithm , find the quotient and rwmainder on dividing 8x4+14x3-2x2+8x-12 by 4x2+3x-2

Simply simplify it so you're dividing 78x-12 by  11x-2
I used synthetic division and got 78/11 with a remainder of 24/11
I would double check it though... I didn't use long division.
