Therefore Until u get 0 as remainder keep doing this process.

When You get Reminder as a 0 You divisior is your HCF .

In this case 24 is HCF.

H.C.F*LCM = PRODUCT OF 1st number and 2nd number

Factor of 72 = 2 *2*2*3*3

Factor of 120 = 2*2*2*3*5

H.C.F =24 AND LCM=360

24*360 = 72*120

8640=8640

THEREFORE L.H.S = R.H.S

HENCE PROVED
