euclids division lemma is a = bq + r

225 = 135 x 1 + 90

135 = 90 x 1 + 45

90 = 45 x 2 + 0

hcf for 135 and 225 is 45

Step :- 1

Clearly 135 ∠225

Step :- 2

By applying Euclid division lemma

a = bq + r

225 = 135 * 1 + 90

90 ≠ 0

Again ,

135 = 90 * 1 + 45

45 ≠ 0

Again ,

90 = 45 * 2 + 0

0 = 0

This Stage remainder is zero

Hence ,  the divisor is 45 and HCF is 45
