Using Euler's formula find the unknown:

Vertices: 6 ? 12
Edges: 12 9 ?

We know that ,

Euler's formula = F + V - E = 2

1)

Let the faces be F

we have ,

F + V - E = 2
F + 6 - 12 = 2
F - 6 = 2
F = 2 +6
F = 8

So,
the faces are 8

2)
Let the vertices be V

F + V - E = 2
5 + V - 9 = 2
V - 4 = 2
V = 6

SO,
the vertices are 6

3)
Let the edges be E

F + V - E = 2
20 + 12 - E = 2
32 - E = 2
E = 32 - 2
E = 30


SO,

The edges are 30
