Rockefeller had a ruthless nature of destroying his competitors by aggressive tactics in the market.   He entered into unethical colluding agreements with the railroads so that his goods reached suppliers in the quickest time.   His agressive pricing strategies helped him to get ahead of his competitors in the oil industry.   His company Standard Oil was caught several times for breaking anti-trust laws.
