Factorising the polynomial :-

x {}^{2}  + 3x + 2 \\  \\ x {}^{2}  + x + 2x + 2

x(x + 1) + 2(x + 1)

(x + 2)(x + 1)

so,

 \frac{(x + 2)(x + 1)}{(x + 1)}

=

(x + 2)

Hope it helps you

Thanks for asking....

Answer :-

First,

=> \bold{x^2\: +\: 3x\: +\: 2}
=> \bold{x^2\: +\: 2x\: +\: 1x\: +\: 2}
=> \bold{x\: (x\: +\: 2)\: +\: 1\: (x\: +\: 2)}
=> \bold{(x\: +\: 1)\: (x\: +\: 2)}

Now,

=> \bold{(x\: +\: 1)\: ( x\: +\: 2)/ (x\: +\: 1)}
=> \bold{(x\: +\: 2)}

So the answer is (x + 2)
