If (x-2) is a factor of the polynmial f(x) = (x^3-8), then by factor theorem, f(2) should be equal to zero;

or \:  \:f(2) =  {2}^{3}  - 8 \\  = 8 - 8 \\  = 0

Hence, it is proved that (x-2) is a factor of f(x).

HOPE THIS COULD HELP!!!
