2x^3+3x^2-11x-6=0

2*(-1/2)^3 + 3*(-1/2)^2 - 11*(-1/2) - 6=0

2*(-1/8) + 3*(1/4) - (-11/2) - 6=0

-1/4 + 3/4 + 11/2 - 6=0

2/4 + 11/2 - 6=0

1/2 + 11/2 - 6=0

12/2 - 6=0

6-6=0

Hence, proved
