ANSWER:-

p(x)= 2√2x²+5x+√2, g(x)= x+√2

g(x)= 0

x+√2= 0

x= -√2

Substituting values-

p(-√2)= 2√2(-√2)²+ 5(-√2)+ √2

= 2√2×2+ (-5√2) +√2

= 4√2 -5√2 +√2

= 5√2 -5√2

= 0

Therefore, g(x) is a factor of p(x).
