cost of mangoes = 90 / kg
cost of grapes = 230 / kg
let the kgs of mangoes she bought be x and kgs of grapes be y
she bought 3 kgs less than four times the amount of grapes for mangoes ie;
kgs of mangoes she bought, x = 4y - 3
cost of mangoes she bought = 90 ( 4y - 3 )
The total cost of the mangoes she bought = 450
90 ( 4y - 3 ) =450
360y - 270 = 450
360y =450+270
360y = 720
y = 2
x = 4y - 3
x = 4*2 -3
x = 8 - 3
x = 5
