Using gauss theorem, derive an expression for electric field due to a uniformalycharged spherical shell(1) at a point outsjide the shell.(2)on the surface of the shell and (3)at a point inside the shell

B.A= q/e( gauss theorem)

for point inside :-

as their is no charge inside the sphere there will be no electric field intensity

for point outside:-

as there the surface under considration will be complete sphere and more

area of that surface will be 2πr ( as r is radius of gaussion surface )

(and R is of sphere)

b(2πr)= q/e

b=q/2πre----(1)

as we dont know how much charge our body has so we will use surface charge density

ω=q/2πR

2ω πR=q

putting in (1)

b= ωR/er

for point on surface :-

from above

  b= ωR/er  

here R=r

thus

b=ω/π
