We save 1433 /- compared to shop 1.

Step-by-step explanation:

(A). Total price for shop 1

Price of half kg of apple = \frac{1}{2} × 168 = 84

Price of 2 kg of pomegranate = 2 × 82 = 164

Price of 2 kg of banana = 2 × 45 = 90

Price of  3 kg of mango = 3 × 39 = 117

Price of  42 kg of papaya = 42 × 36 = 1512

Price of  3 kg of onion = 3 × 22 = 66

Price of 142 kg of tomato = 142 × 46 = 6532

Price of 1 kg of carrot = 1 × 19 = 19

Total price of all item on shop 1 = 84 + 164 + 90 + 117 + 1512 + 66 + 6532 + 19

⇒ Total price of all item on shop 1 = RS 8584 /-

(B). Total price for shop 2 :-

Price of half kg of apple = \frac{1}{2} × 148 = 74

Price of 2 kg of pomegranate = 2 × 75 = 150

Price of 2 kg of banana = 2 × 43 = 86

Price of  3 kg of mango = 3 × 35 = 105

Price of  42 kg of papaya = 42 × 30 = 1260

Price of  3 kg of onion = 3 × 21 = 63

Price of 142 kg of tomato = 142 × 38 = 5396

Price of 1 kg of carrot = 1 × 17 = 17

Total price of all item on shop 2 = 74 + 150 + 86 + 105 + 1260 + 63 + 5396 + 17

⇒ Total price of all item on shop 2 = RS 7151 /-

⇒ Savings in money = Price at shop 1 - Price at shop 2

⇒ Savings in money = 8584 - 7151

⇒ Savings in money = RS 1433 /-
