Given :  y = x² - 3x - 4  , y = x²  – 6x + 9

To Find : Zeroes using Graph

Solution:

y = x² - 3x - 4

x              y

-4           24

-3           14

-2           6

-1            0

0           -4

1             -6

2            -6

3            -4

4             0

5            6

-1   & 4 are zeroes of the x² - 3x - 4

x² - 3x - 4  = (x - 4)(x + 1)

y = x²  – 6x + 9

x               y

-2            25

-1             16

0             9

1              4

2              1

3              0

4              1

5              4

Only Zero is at 3

x²  – 6x + 9  = ( x - 3)²
