Answer:

perimeter = 14cm

semi perimeter= 7cm

QR = 5cm

PQ= PR= x cm

According to the Question,

 =  > 2x + 5 = 14

 =  > 2x = 9

 =  > x = 4.5

Using Heron's formula,

 =  >  \sqrt{(7) \times (7 - 5) \times (7 - 4.5) \times (7 - 4.5)}

 =  >  \sqrt{(7) \times (2) \times  {(2.5)}^{2} }

 =  > 2.5 \times  \sqrt{14}

 =  > 2.5 \times 3.74

 =  > 9.35 \:  {cm}^{2}

Hope this answer helps you ^_^ !
