using heron's formula ,find the area of a triangle whose side are 10cm,24cm,26cm​

Answer:

semi perimeter= a+b+c/2

here a= 10cm

b= 24 cm

c= 26 cm

semi perimeter= 60/2= 30

now

area = √s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)

= √ 30 x 20 x 6 x 4

= √ 14400

= 120 cm

therefore area of triangle using herons formula is 120 cm
