[(x-2)²]² - (x²)²

= [(x-2)² + x²][(x-2)² - x²]

=[x²+4-4x+x²][(x-2+x)(x-2-x)]

=[2x²-4x+4][2x-2][-2]

=2[x²-2x+2] × 2[x-1] × [-2]

= -8[x²-2x+2][x-1]

Hope this is helpful to you

I used a²-b²=(a+b)(a-b) and also taking out the common factors out
