Answer:

(x+y)²=x²+y²+2xy.

(x-y)²=x²+y²-2xy.

Applying above formulas.

(x+y)²-(x-y)²

=x²+y²+2xy-(x²+y²-2xy)

=x²+y²+2xy-x²-y²+2xy

=4xy. (answer).
