i) ( 4x - 1 ) 2

4x - 1 by 2

8x - 2

ii ) ( 1.5a + 0.3 ) ( 1.5a - 0.3 )

( 1.5a ) ² - 0.3²

1.5²a² - 0.3²

2.25a² - 0.3²

2.25a² - 0.09

Answer:

\huge{\boxed{\boxed{\colorbox{pink}{question}}}}

===> use identity

find:-

  1. (4x-1)²
  2. 1.5a+0.3)(1.5-0.3)

in the question we have to use identity ( l ) and ( lll )

identity (l) = (a-b)²=a²-2ab+b²

identity (lll) = (a+b) (a-b) = a²-b²

===> let's find out:-

give:-

Q.1 (4x-1)²

use identity (l). (a-b)²= a²-2ab+b²

===>. (4x-1)²= 4x²-2(4x)(1)+1²

= 16x²-8x+1

Q.2 (1.5a+0.3)(1.5a-0.3)

use identity (lll). (a+b)(a-b)=a²-b²

===> (1.5a+0.3)(1.5a-0.3)= 1.5a²-0.3²

= 2.25a²-0.09
