To find : Square of "73" using suitable identity

Answer :

First splitting the number "73"

We can expand it so we get (70+3)

Now using the identity

(a+b)^2 = a^2+b^2+2ab

(70+3)^2 = (70)^2+(3)^2+2(70)(3)

(70+3)^2= 4900+9+420

(70+3)^2 = 5329
