Given that,

Dividend = 4p^3-4p^2+6p-\dfrac{5}{2}

Divisor = 2p-1

We know that,

Long division method :

Long division method is the basic method.

The divisor is written outside the right brackets and the dividend is placed within. The quotient is written above the over bar on top of the dividend.

We need to solve this equation

Using long division method

The dividend is  4p^3-4p^2+6p-\dfrac{5}{2} and divisor is 2p-1.

Hence, The quotient is 2p^2+p-\dfrac{5}{2}
