Using MO theory bond order of CO2=4. We can also calculate bond order from drawing structures for the compounds that show resonance right? But through that way we'll get the bond order of CO2 as 2. So it is not applicable here. So is there any condition to apply the resonance structure bond order method??

Answer:

CO molecule has 10 valence electrons, four from carbon atom (2s²2p²) and six from ... An element with bond order value 0 cannot exist, but compounds can have a 0 ... In molecular orbital theory , bond order is also defined as half the difference ... bond order you should first be able to draw structure
