using Newton's second and third law, mathematically show that momentum before collosion is equal to momentum after collision.

Answer: here we are saying momentum before collision=momentum after collision

In which when they stick

M¹U¹ +M²U² =(M¹+M²)V

Where

M=mass

U=initial velocity

V=velocity

*And when they don't stick

M¹U¹+M²U²=M²V²+M¹V¹
