It states that two fermions in the same atom can't have the same 4 quantum numbers.

# Total number of electrons in the level n=3​ ?

Maximum no of electrons in shell with n = 3 is given by -

N = 2n²

N = 2 × 3²

N = 2 × 9

N = 18 electrons

Hence, the total number of electrons in the level n=3​ are 18.
