p(x)=x^3-6x^2+2x-4

g(x)=3x+2

to find zero of p(x)

let value of g(x)=0

3x+2=0

x=2/3

by remainder theorem

p(2/3)=(2/3)^3-6×(2/3)^2+2×2/3-4

=8/27-8/3+4/3-4

=8/27-4/3-4

=8-36/27-4

=-28/27-108/27

=-28-108/27

=-136/27
