Remainder theorem states that the remainder of the division of a polynomial f(x) bi linear polynomial ( x - a )is f(a) or in other words we can say that (x - a) is a divisor of f(x) if only if f(a) = 0

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Here a = 2

Let p(x) = 2x² + 2 + 4x + 1 remainder is when you put x = 2 in p(x) = p(2)

⟹ 2(2²) + 2 + 4(2) + 1

⟹ 2 × 4 + + 8 + 1

⟹ 8 + 9

⟹ 17 Answer.
