p(x)=x^{3} +3x^{2} -5x+4

Zero of (x-2) is  

=x-2=0

=x=2

substitute the value of x in p(x)

p(2) = (2)^3 + 3(2)^2 -5(2)+4

p(2) = 8 + 3(4) - 10 +4

p(2) = 8+12-10+4

p(2) = 14

Remainder is 14.
