Using remainder theorem, find the remainder when p (x) is divided by g (x)

p(x) = x3

-2x2

-4x-1 , g(x)=x +1.​

Answer:

g(x)=0

x+1=0

x=-1

Using Remainder Theorem,

Putting g(x)=-1 in eqⁿ -2x² -4x-1

(-1)³-2×(-1)²-4×(-1)-1

-1-2+4-1

-4+4

0

Hence the remainder will be 0.
