using remainder theorem find the remainder when x^3-2x^2-4x-1 is diveded by x+1

Hey user

=>x+1=0

=>x=-1

=>p(x)= x^3-2x^2-4x-1

=>(-1)^3-2(-1)^2-4*-1-1

=>-1-2+4-1

=>0
