As we know that all sides of a equilateral triangle are equal.

So,

AB = 6 cm

BC = 6 cm

CA = 6 cm

  • Draw a line of 6 cm and name it BC

  • Take compass and make two arcs one from. point B and one from point C of 6 cm.

  • Join BA and CA

Step-by-step explanation:

1. Construct a line segment PQ of length 6 cm.

2. We know that all angles are equal to 60° in an equilateral triangle. So, with compass, make an arc of 60° at points P and Q.

3. Draw a line segment of 6 cm from point P.

4. Draw a line segment of 6 cm from point Q.

5. Name the point of intersection as R.

6. PQR is the required triangle.
