using section formula deduce the formula for the midpoint of line segment joining (x1,y1)&(x2,y2)​

Answer:

here ratio is 1:1 this implies m:n = 1:1

we know section formula is

( \frac{mx2 + nx1}{m + n} ) \:  ( \frac{my2 + ny1}{m + n})

here m and n both are equals to 1

so, the formula become

( \frac{x2 + x1}{2} ) \:  (\frac{y2 + y1}{2} ) \\ which \: is \: written \\  \: as \: ( \frac{x1 + x2}{2})  \: ( \frac{y1 + y2}{2} )

and this is section formula used for mid point...
