( 1000 +1) ( 1000 - 2)
Using identity :-
( x + a) (x + b) = x^2 + (a +b)x + ab
= ( 1000 +1)( 1000 - 2)
= ( 1000)^2 + ( 1 - 2)(1000) + (1)(-2)
= 1000000 - 1000 - 2
= 1000000 - 1002
= 998998

✔✔heya here ia ur answer☺✌
1001 × 998= (1000+1)(1000-2)
It is in the form of (x+a)(x+b) = x^2 + (a+b)x + ab
=> 1000^2 + ( 1-2) 1000 + (1×-2)
=> 1000000-1000-2
=> 998998
