Let's see if a+b+c = 0

= (-10)+(6)+(4)

= -10+10

= 0

•°• a³ + b³ + c³ = 3xyz [ °•° a+b+c = 0]

= 3×-10×6×4

= -30×24

( - 10)³ + 6³ + 4³ = - 720

Given :

( - 10)³ + 6³ + 4³

To find :

The value of the expression

Formula :

If a + b + c = 0 then a³ + b³ + c³ = 3abc

Solution :

Step 1 of 2 :

Find the value of ( - 10) + 6 + 4

Let a = - 10 , b = 6 , c = 4

Then we have

a + b + c

= - 10 + 6 + 4

= 0

Step 2 of 2 :

Find the value of the expression

We know that if a + b + c = 0 then a³ + b³ + c³ = 3abc

Thus we get

( - 10)³ + 6³ + 4³

= a³ + b³ + c³

= 3abc

= 3 × ( - 10 ) × 6 × 4

= - 720
