1. (a-b)(a+b) = ( a^2-b^2)

by using identity 1

(x-y)(x+y) = (x^2-y^2)

now

given equation become

(x^2-y^2) (x^2+y^2) (x^4+y^4)

again use identity 1

here a = x^2 and b = y^2

(x^4- y^4)(x^4+y^4)

( x^16-y^16))
