Take positive and negative terms separate and add using property of sum and difference of integers. (If all terms are of same sign add their magnitudes and put the sign they had before addition, if terms are of different sign subtract them and put the sign of number larger in magnitude.) we get,( - 5-3-4/5)+(7/10+3/7+5/14)

-44/5+104/14=-44.14+104.5/70=-576+520/70=-524/70=-262/35.
