A KNOCK AT THE DOOR

Once I was alone at home. It was a dark night and it was raining outside. Lighting and thunder scared me. When I was sitting at the sofa and watching TV, suddenly the lights went out and I heard a noise. I went to the kitchen and saw something shining there. Once again I heard the same noise. I went closer towards the shining matter and saw that it was a cat. I somehow managed the cat to get out of the house. tried to call my parents but all the phone lines were cut.

After sometime someone knocked the door. I got very scared. I went to the door and slowly opened it. There was a child on the door. He told that he was lost. I took him inside and tried to make him feel comfortable. After sometime I tried to call once again and fortunately I could call. I called my parents and told them everything. They told me to take care of the child till they return and will inform the police about it. They returned and took the boy to the police station. His parents were also there in search of him. Child had a big smile on his face after meeting his parents.
