Success at speech competition
One fine day, while I was returning back from my school, I read a notice at Gulmohar Square saying that entries are accepted for zonal speech competition. I revealed the opportunity to my parents and they motivated me to participate in the same. After filling the registration form, I decided to work harder on my oratory skills.
My English tutor helped me a lot to improve. I realized that confidence is a must to attract the audience and convey the message.
After ten days of preparation, it was finally the time to present my speech. The competition was organized at Ravindra Bhawan and my parents were also a part of the audience gathered there. I gave my best at the stage. And, my hard work bore fruit, I was selected as the best speaker. The chief guest awarded me with a prestigious award and I was on the cloud nine!
