Let me give this a try;

An insulator is a poor conductor of both heat and electricity, while the conductor is the material that allows the electric current to pass through it.

  • In this case the material in test was a conductor, this is because  it allowed the bulb to glow its only the materials that conducts electricity can allow the bulb to glow.

Answer:

since the object allow current to flow and completes the circuit and makes bulb to glow it means the object is a conductor of electricity
