Add both equations,
You will get,
8c = 16 => c=2... then d= 0.5
We add both equations as coefficient was already same

Answer:

lets use elimination method

Step-by-step explanation:

5c - 2d = 9 --------(1)

3c + 2d = 7 ----------(2)

lets add (1) and (2)

8c +0d = 16

8c = 16

c = 2 --------(3)

lets substitute (3) in (1)

5(2) - 2d = 9

10 - 2d = 9

-2d = -1

d= 0.5

so the values of c and d are:

2 and 0.5
