Using the elimination method, solve the simultaneous equation.​

Answer:

 \frac{(x - 3)}{5}  =  \frac{(y - 7)}{2}

2x - 6 = 5y - 35

x =  \frac{(5y - 29)}{2}

Now putting this in other equation

11 \times  \frac{(5y - 29)}{2}  = 13y

55y - 319 = 26y

29y = 319

y = 11 and x = 13
