Answer:

Pressure is defined as the force exerted (on a surface) per unit surface area.   Pressure is a scalar.

P = F / A,      Its unit is Pascal = Newton / meter².   There are also some other units in use for pressure.

1)   F = P * A = 50, 000 Pascals * 0.5 meter =  25, 000 Pascals or N/m²

2)  Surface Area A = Force / Pressure = 100 N / 500 pa  = 1/5 m²

3)  Area = 30 cm² = 30 / (100*100)  meter²

    Pressure = F / A = 300 N / (3/1000) = 100 * 1000 pa  = 1 * 10⁵ pa

4 )  Area =  1 cm² = (1/100)² meter²

       Force needed = P A  = 20, 000 pa * (1/100²) m²  =  2 Newtons
