t =  \sqrt{2} s

a= 10m/s^2 , s= 10m , u = 0

s = ut + 1/2 at²

2s= 2ut + at²

10t² + 0 = 2(10)

10t²= 20

t² = 2

t = +- root(2)

neglecting -ve term coz time can't be in negative value.
