Hey mate! Here is an attempt to write a poem.

Answer:

We went to space and landed on moon

Excavated things and rewrote the past

Intelligence at peak! oh! what a boon!

But nature in our primacy was forever last.

We soon lost health and disasters occured

It was not safe; no more on Earth.

The future of the mankind became blurred,

We resolved to start a rebirth on Earth.

Tall trees stood saying our history for years

A little concern and pollution no where;

Chirping of birds is soothing to ears!

Now, we can see birds everywhere.

This is about exploiting earth and then realising our mistake and starting a new life pledging to save Nature.
