Step-by-step explanation:

x²-5x+6=0

multiply 6 and x²

6*x²=6x²

we should find the factors of 6x²

when we add them they should be equal to the middle number that is -5x

6x²= -2x * -3x

-2x+-3x=5x

now,

split the middle term

x²+(-2x-3x)+6=0

x²-2x-3x+6=0

(x²-2x)(-3x+6)=0

take the common term out

X(x-2) -3(x-2)=0

(x-3) (x-2)=0

x-3=0. ;. x-2=0

X=3. ;. X=2

therefore the zeroes are 2 and 3
